“Pass the class” and go on with your life is excellent advice. I’ve known so many people over the years that failed classes because they wanted to prove professors wrong about opinions. But it doesn’t matter, get your grade and go on with your life because the professor definitely is, whether you pass or fail.

I have problems with some of Dave's teachings, but the idea of a professor living in bubble-land giving advise on this topic brings to mind the old saying _Those who can, do. Those who cannot, teach._

He is just a finance professor not probably a millionaire. He might be right in the finance world of investment ( businesses, banking etc…) Dave’s teaching is straight for regular folks to being financially stable in life and build wealth.

I am a professor and teach personal finance. Dave is not an idiot. I don't agree with him on everything, but all of his advice is pretty solid. As long as your bills are paid, you are saving for retirement, and you keep your debt low or non-existent, you will win.

Professors are there to teach, but it's up to the student to understand what works and what doesn't as they find their own path.

I talked to successful business man years ago. He said he wished he had gone to college. My thought was that everything he did to become wealthy would have been declared wrong by professors.

My finance professor was a multi millionaire who drove a Lamborghini Gallardo to school. He owns several businesses and he ended every single class with this piece of advice. "Live lean." It didn't happen to him overnight.

These professor aren’t always right!!!! Sadly you can’t alway express this until you pass the class and move on. Than you can see the professor info isn’t for you! I had so many professors like this one tried to fail me for proving their info wasn’t correct. I thought when you go to college you had the right to prove your professor is wrong because of data… No what they say is right all the time! Smh

After listening to Mikey talk about his professor's bad advice. It was great when Dave shared Denice's experience with a professor of the same opinion while she used Dave's advice about keeping silent thru the class it was the best revenge to hear how she got him back for trashing her father. Great story Dave!
