Feeling Nostalgic for the Best (And Worst) of the Nintendo 3DS

Is the Nintendo 3DS considered retro yet? Of course not. Doesn't stop me from feeling like going back to just play a bunch of 3DS games! Nintendo's lineup on the handheld is consistently accepted as one of the strongest in company's history, but that's not to say every game was a hit. From Super Mario 3D Land and Fire Emblem Awakening to Chibi Robo Zip Lash and Paper Mario Sticker Star, the range of quality is pretty wide. However, games are always viewed at differently years after they released VS when they first launched, so in this nostalgia cycle I'm on, I wanted to look at 15+ Nintendo games for the 3DS and see how they play now, as well as comment on the impact they've had in the years after.

Ocarina of Time 3D really is the definitive version of the game, taking the original’s code and making tweaks that ANYBODY can get behind, faster text scrolling, using the face buttons for the ocarina, and adding an additional button for an item and the change they made to the Water Temple of color coding the area of where to rise and drain the water for puzzles. Grezzo really did a phenomenal job of taking an all time classic and making it better.

The 3ds took everything that was great about the DS and kicked it up to 11, and the games it had were amazing. Kirby games like triple deluxe and planet robobot, Mario 3D land, Pokemon x and y and sun and moon, super smash bros, hell it even saved the entire fire emblem series from death with Awakening. 3DS is one of the greatest handheld consoles of all time

Kirby: Triple Deluxe was technically my first Kirby game and it immediately clicked for me. The art style, the catchy soundtrack, the ideas it had, it was just so cozy and fun. Also the name itself was just a pun for the 3DS. I knew after beating the story (pre-100%), that this series was right up my alley

Am I the only one who used the 3D slider 95% of the time? Sometimes I'd keep it halfway if it was too intense but I always loved the effect.
