It's human to be uncomfortable with hugging (some) people, however it's be odd to believe someone who agreed to be an actor should be surprised or repulsed by doing it. For example, I work at a tailor's parlor. Like most people, I hate being stung by a pin or scratched by scissors. But if that's the central thing one mentions and emphasizes, of course the next question would be 'then why are you a tailor?'. And I say this not because of Watson but some comments.
