Hey I dont know if this video is not updated, but for those who cant find it within the video, I found a way myself. You want to head over to "Your Channel" and then "Customize Channel", then "Basic Info" and you should have an edit logo next to your channel name.

My channel name seems to be too specific, so I'm thinking of changing it and re-branding. Are there any negatives to changing your channel name? I do craft videos and with my channel name as it is, I'm afraid I'm locked into doing only mason jars since mason is in my channel name. I find that I love doing other crafts as well, so I want my channel name to be a little more general and not mention mason jars at all. Are there any risks in changing the name of your channel? I've worked really hard over the last few months, but the views are not coming in. I suspect I'm confusing Youtube with a name that includes mason, but I'm doing more than just mason jars. Any advise?

I was able to follow up until settings in the YouTube studio but into basic settings, I don't see the option to log into google account or change my channel name?

Thanks for this video. It's very helpful. However, I'm wondering whether YouTube/Google have changed the system recently.

I have a Brand Account, but when I go to my YouTube Channel Settings, there is no "Edit on Google" option listed.

As I said, I have a Brand Account, and the YouTube channel is linked to that account. And my page in the Settings looks exactly like the one you show EXCEPT that "Edit on Google" just isn't there.

Your video makes it appear very simple to change the name of a YouTube Brand Account Channel, but it's just a dead end for me when I try to follow your steps.

I noticed a couple other comments where various people said the same thing. Did YouTube change the system or is there something wrong with my Channel/Account?

Question #1:

For a Brand Account, when you change the YouTube Channel name, does that change the name of the Brand Account too? Does that happen automatically?

Basically, can your Brand Account have a different name from the YouTube Channel? Or are the names always the same and they always change together?


Question #2:

Is it possible to have multiple YouTube Channels connected to the same Brand Account?

Or is there always one Brand Account for every Channel?

So, if you have three YouTube Channels, do you automatically have three Brand Accounts? Or can you go into your Brand Account and then create multiple YouTube channels all under that same Account?

(I'm just endlessly confused about what an Account is versus a Channel. YouTube and Google seem to use the two words interchangeably, and it's hard to figure out what is going on. Sometimes they're different and sometimes they seem to be the same. Thanks for any help you can send my way!)
