You guys might find it valuable to look at some of the equipment rock climbers use to work their grip strength. Some of it is light and portable and some of the hang boards can be mounted like a pull up bar. Climbers have some of the strongest grips out there!

I’ve been a beer delivery guy for 27 years and grabbing cases, hand trucks, and throwing kegs will give you that type of grip strength as well. Not to mention 7 years of being a Marine infantrymen!

I love grip training . One grip exercise I've been doing for years is.. Taking hard wood round stick, tying 2ft rope onto it, then hook xxx amount of weight and then roll it up and down from CORE height.
My baseball pitching coach taught me that 20+ years ago . I still do that exercise to this day .

I’d love to see a video on how you train to reduce arm fatigue when holding a rifle (knowing DJ’s background). Not sure if it’s shoulders/triceps/biceps

DJ: “It's kind of like your dad grabs a hold of you when you're a kid it's like oh man I'm kind of a victim right now.”
Damn felt that before.

I like the "release and catch" twist added to doing hand and forearms exercises...

I love these videos on grip strength. I've trained it in some form or fashion since I was a boy. When you see how strong your dad's hands are (farm life, milking cows, splitting wood, etc.) you just want that! I'm still not there, but I keep working at it..

Pummeling sand in a bucket is a real man maker. Towel pulls of any kind and don’t forget the extenders to open the hand are just as important, a couple rubber bands around the fingers work well.

Thank you more to add to the training. Realistic and doable

I am 6'5" 240lbs and i lift weights...I'm strong by many standards. My best bud is a BJJ black belt, at 5'9" 180. His grip strength and "heaviness" ...he can grip me up and drop me at his leisure and make me feel like a child....it is amazing. I'll be putting this video to practice. Thanks.

Grip and forearm strength is key 🎯🦍. That’s an awesome exercise how you’re using the clamp strength of the hand instead of a full encapsulated grip type like when grabbing a barbell or something similar where you would fully curl fingers around the item/weight.

Given how nervous DJ was to flip that dumbbell... I'll probably give it a looong period of training before working up to that 😂

Man, watching a TF Blue operator struggle puts into perspective just how difficult this really is.

I like John Danahers grip training advice of mainly just climbing rope. Builds incredible grip
