OSMC gave new life to my old RPi 2. I use it for retro cartoons, 80s/90s shows, etc on my B&O CRT via composite. It's a real time travel :)

I have 2 osmc raspberries, one for living room and one for bedroom...
And i have media server with NFS (network file storage) and MariaDB (sql database)...

Something really cool happens when you make both kodis point to the same database.

I can stop a video in the living room and continue watching it the bedroom.
That's my favorite feature :)

Edit: Forgot to mention. i've had this setup for 2 years now... and probably wont be changing it any time soon :)

Since buying a pi 400, I now have a spare 3b+, guess this is going to be my new project.

I love the subtle warnings you give right before I make a mistake as I'm following along :D

Seriously just saved me $30-$60 on getting a Roku. I may have to if this doesn't make my wife happy but it's a great start. Thank you!

I really like how you explain things in your videos. Clear and to the point. Very easy to follow and tons of relevant information. I just bought my first Raspberry Pi, so I'm looking forward to watching more of your videos.

Holy crap; this works tolerably well on a Raspi 1

Did not work unfortunately. Always says "Install failed: can’t mount root" So not sure why. Used a 64gb SD card, so not the size.

Please video about how to install latest android tv on Raspberry Pi 3. Your video about it 3 years ago. Thank you.

I prefer to use a Rii keyboard/mc remote with Kodi as it handheld and RF and has dedicated buttons for media playback

Cool idea. The Raspberry Pi can do so much. Will have to give this a try.
