Also, regarding my Mom not using pressure cooker for the meat, she knows it's easier and we have one, but she prefers the old fashion way.

I love how she normalizes giving foods to her friends back in her younger days; it really shows how grounded her son to one of the intangible Filipino values—generosity

She's has that typical nanay attitude. My favorite line from her " Nung nasa pilipinas ako ". Ramdam na miss parin nya dito sa pinas and she still has that Filipino culture inside her. I Love watching you Mama Lulu. Sana may everyday routine vlog din si Mama Lulu. 😊🥰🤗

Love that there wasn’t that much editing and it feels like you’re actually there with them

Im not fillipino but love her energy . She seems so loving and motherly, a personality that can make you feel at home . The food looks interesting, it reminds me sort of west african peanut Stew (or groundnuts as they say) . The cusuine of the fillipine reminds me of food from Latin America as well mixed with a South Asian Flare

Mama Lulu talks as if we are her apos, pamangkin, or relative. I feel so relaxed watching her talk and cook😊❤️

I am proud of my parents for making a life for themselves in Canada. My siblings, cousins, and I are first generation. Due to our language barriers, our parents never taught us how to make traditional foods (the foods we ate every meal, everyday, since we can remember). Anyway, I wanted to learn how to make kare kare and this really reminded me of cooking with my auntie. I loved this ♡ I mastered adobo and sinigang. Now it's kare kare, bulalao, and pansit next!

I could listen to you speak in your own language all day, I may not understand what you are saying but it so nice to listen too 😊

Even though I did not understand anything that Mama Lulu said because I'm not Filipino I love watching her cook and her interaction with everyone and the food looks amazing!

I'm half Filipino and my Mom who recently passed away, use to cook me that dish Kare Kare and is still one of my favorite dishes of all time. You're one hell of a cook and love your sense of humor! Reminds me of my Mom so much. Wishing you and your family warm blessings
