when i was 12, i made a cat house with 20 boxes and one of them was a tv box, that thing was giant and hard to transport, but the cat loved that, a lot of space... many rooms... filled with compartments... was not like a maze inside, but was very complex, worked like a amusement park for a cat.

I used to do this with the cat food boxes for my kittens they loved it. This is a really good idea it gives them there own little world where they can hide.

Little need for expensive cat trees when these can be made so easy and inexpensively. Make new or additional configurations whenever you want. Walmart has a variety of inexpensive boxes around the stationery or craft departments.
