My long journey of reviewing every single Legend of Zelda game is going strong, I just recently revisited Twilight Princess, the Edgy Teenager of Zelda games, and its high time for a review. This game is an absolute masterpiece. The story is simply incredible. For years OOT was always my favorite but when I played this a few years ago for the first time on wii u this moved to number one. TP, IMO is one of the greatest video games ever made.

Beat this on the wii back in the day. I like how dark it is. Just beat it again recently. Definitely one of the more underrated Zelda games for sure.

List of oversights I can't forgive as a massive fan of this game
- No Wolf Link combos you can learn throughout the game
- Illia being underdeveloped
- Twilight Realm only being a dungeon (they cut the concept of a city during production to save time)
- Epona becoming almost useless once you have teleportation
- Game's opening forcing you to relinquish your weapon
Otherwise solid game 9.5/10 for me

This was a great review. And I heavily agree with the soundtrack. I snagged a download of the full OST. I don't usually download soundtracks. But I really like it.

Twilight princess was my first zelda game and I played all the other 3d zeldas and some of the 2d ones afterwards and Twilight princess is still my favorite

I remember getting this game on the GameCube, playing it for about an hour or two and then never touching it again. Such a shame that I couldn't appreciate a game like this back when I was younger. Recently I picked it up on an emulator platform and I'm looking at it now with completely different eyes.

It does so many things, but it does all of them so well. It's a bit goofy, it's a bit endearing, it's enchanting, it's has a spooky touch. It's like a perfectly mixed cocktail.

It also reminds me of Shadow of the Colossus in a good way.
