Twilight princess is my second favorite Zelda all time, like I still listen to the soundtrack all the time and every few years I have to replay it again 🤣

I remember letting my friend borrow it and then his mom lost it in storage. Played the Wii version, hated it, and went to Gamestop to buy another GameCube copy, and it was 50$ used. Still bought it

My POS roommate stole my GameCube Twilight Princess and sold it. I’ve been collecting Zelda stuff since I was 10, and this was my favorite game. My family didn’t have a lot of money to throw around, so it was several years before I got a Wii, I treasured this game. I was only recently able to afford to replace it, but it had my memory card in the case with Pokémon from when I was a kid.
Spencer, I hope you get what you deserve.

I’d actually have to disagree on the controls being better on GameCube. The Wii remote pointer is super helpful for aiming your bow and claw shot, spin attacks are easier to pull off with just a flick of the wrist, you can have 4 items equipped at once compared to the GameCube’s 2. + Wii version has Widescreen support.

Didn't know they made a GameCube version until like around 2012 and I'm surprised that even fit that on GameCube cuz Twilight Princess is such a large game

Same with Silent Hill Shattered Memories on the PS2. It blows my mind. Resident Evil 2&3 + Code Veronica on the GC are also heavy hitters compared to their other ports

The wii controls work fine! Swinging the remote is the same as the B button for the gamecube and it's VERY accurate in determining whether you swung hard enough to register the command.
Also shaking the nunchuck for the spin attack feels great! One could argue that they don't like pointing at the screen for bow + arrow controls but what a lot of people don't know is that you can disable pointer controls and use the control stick for the wii version. Making the only thing motion based you have to use is sword controls.

Yup, Resident Evil Code Veronica X is $180 on GameCube and $10 on PS2

literally Botw had the exact same situation

Which begs the question: how much TP on the Wii *U* goes for..

So many Wii U Ports on the Switch are more expensive than the original game was - despite them not having to produce a physical copy.
(e.g. Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze)

I noticed the same thing with some Resident Evil games on GameCube, especially with Code Veronica X.

Im so happy I kept my GC version. I decided to pick it up again 10 years later to play again. I’m extra greatful knowing they are rare now too

Region differences can also be strange. For example, Futurama on the PS2 is dirt cheap in the UK but very expensive in the US.

Breath of the wild on the Wii U is more expensive than breath of the wild on switch

Also, the gcn version has a bug fix as it came out a bit later. The wii version can corrupt your save file when you save at a certain point.
