One reason why plows in the front work better is because the truck's tires are rolling over a freshly plowed road.

Wow I never heard of a snow plow before. This new invention will change the world

Best to install on the front. That way, the heavier/ light snow will be pushed away from the truck. Mounted on the rear, the truck will drive into the snow first, which may not work, depending on the depth and thickness of the snow, as the truck could get stuck. At least I would mount on the front of the truck.

I've never seen one of these...but...as an engineer I think the blade being mounted on the front is more usable as the front of a pickup truck is heavier and you would produce the same down force without lifting two of your drive tires off the road bedand and as stated the tires are moving over cleared areas.

I have been plowing snow commercially for 45 years and I have never needed one of these. I know guys that have a plow on the front and the back and they don't know if they're coming or going and takes them three times longer to do a job that I can do a lot quicker. Put a plow on the front of the truck and master it first, and you'll find you don't need one on the rear

Do those Chinese know that here in 'murika, we actually tend to, and prefer to, drive the vehicle in the "D"rive gear, moving FORWARD?

Their product really has no real requirement for it.

Plows mounted on the front have been doing what needs to be done and getting it done for over 100 years now.

That ol' saying, kind of applies here, no?

"If it ain't broke, then don't try to fix

Yeah, that part

That would break in 10 minutes.
Heavy frozen snow and ice would bend that. Pick up trucks with their small diameter tires do not have enough static traction.

Probably much better for the trucks front end

Because a front mount system hammers the crap outa your front end components.

I’ve plowed lots of snow and having it the back makes absolutely no sense. I’ll still going with the standard front plow.

When you have it all the way extended down it takes to weight off the back tires so you're not going to get any traction. You will just end up spinning

It might do ok in a one inch snow but multiple inches would destroy it

Why does anyone want to plow backwards

Or you can get a plow on the front of the truck where it belongs.
