Hard pack snow being removed - usually in late winter. Best way to remove it. This method does not destroy the road as it is frozen. Overloaded truck weights destroy roads when they thaw out.

Road construction companies love doing this. It destroys roads, so they can get huge contracts rebuilding them. Compressed air would remove the ice and snow, and save the road.
