Listen there are exceptions ofc, but LeBron talked about it himself, all people wanna do is play 1s. There is not much basketball IQ involved in that. Obviously there were and are player with high basketball IQ like Bron and CP3 right now, Kidd, Nash, Magic in the past, and so on..

Now in Europe it is different. The most athletic players are either USA native guys that arent good for the NBA, or some freaks of nature, and it's usually a lot more actions, ball movement, very principled and mostly fundamental basketball.

The main reason to blame imo is the coaching. The last team that resembled basketball in it's fundamental core is Spurs 2014 imo. A lot of ball movement, getting guys open, fundamental and principled European kind of style. Coaches are way too soft and players have way too much control.

Overall I know I kinda wrote an essay and sorry about that, but to summerize it, if you wanna see entertaining and flashy basketball NBA is the right choice, if you are kind more old fashioned and like traditional basketball watch Euroleague.
