Hi, I am a metal detectorist and outdoor adventurer with a passion for history. I work with an archeological department to find lost artifacts. Some of which I hope will be displayed for the public to enjoy. I do this hobby both for myself but also to share with you guys. I hope you enjoy visiting my channel and I wish you all well

After 100’s of hours in the field with NoX, DEUS and each Nokta since the kruzer, I’m all for the DEUS 2. The DEUS has been the best detector I’ve used in many ways. In fact I sold all other detectors after getting my 2nd DEUS setup. Audio, ergonomics, versatility sets DEUS above the rest. DEUS launched in 2009 I think and it’s still a top performer. No other company can say that. The Nokta stuff falls short when compared. A new DEUS should, by all means, be the best detector ever invented if this pattern repeats itself for them. I do wonder how much better the performance will actually be though. Maybe I’d consider one if I start water hunting but for now, the DEUS does everything I need exceptionally well.

Very informative video. I am just starting off down the detecting road. I have a lot to learn before I upgrade to anything close to your level of detecting. As always, thank you for sharing your video and wealth of knowledge. Moving on….💙🍻🤙🏻

I have been thinking hard about the Deus . I really like how it’s able to break down and be throw into a backpack. I like how it’s manufactured in France . We will see have to save all my coins I find! Have a great weekend! MC&TT 🐆🐆

Evening mate! Interesting video, as Marcus said I feel the price point will be in different places, and I hope they will because I want the new Nokta machine! I may have to wait a while anyway, I think convincing marie may be the biggest challenge 😆

Hi, I've used both Nokta and the Deus, and will say I prefer the Deus sounds to the Nokta. I suppose you buy what you're used to. Dad has been saving for a new detector, and will probably get the Deus II as that's what he's used to, although he isn't happy at the £1450 price tag. I love the lightness of the Deus, at 800g it's 650g lighter than my Simplex, and I can go all day with no fatigue. I just can't do that with my Simplex. Keep up the great work.

I love the simplex except for wet salt water. I've found the anfibio pretty complicated. I've pretty much settled on the equinox 800 and the Sea Hunter Mark 2. Both new machines sound interesting. I'd look for do it all and ease of use tempered by price.

My Deus has been very loyal and strong where as the cheaper Nokta/Makro have all broken within a year due to the poor plastics and abuse they get over here in the UK. The only downside I see with the new Deus II is the crappy coil charge clip, I so wished they would make the whole new system wireless charging like modern mobile phones but I guees we will see when it comes out officially on the market. Price wise you get what you pay for, a long lasting wireless machine, super light and waterproof where as the cheaper made machines just fail after a short time. Any change over to Deus either it be the Deus, Deus ORX or Deus II will not let you down ever

The only reason Nokta might need extra batteries would be because the multi frequency uses way more power than the single frequency Simplex.
I have run for 10 hrs and still had plenty of battery with mine.
Hope Nokta upgrade the lower shaft and coil.
Cool upload Nathe 😎

If the Deus 2's multi-frequency can equal or best the multi-frequency performance of Minelab's machines, it should be a killer. I've used an Excalibur for years, as well as a couple of Minelab's MF land machines. While expensive as always, I was somewhat pleasantly surprised to see that the Deus 2 can be had as low as $1599 U.S. I was afraid it would be much closer to 2K. I've used bone conduction headphones for years for audio (passable for music, but really shines with speech....great for podcasts), so this feature of the Deus 2 is pretty intriguing. I hesitate to be an early adopter, even with some of the pre-order extras I've been seeing. Even though the price seems pretty reasonable, it's still a lot of money to risk. That said, there's still a pretty decent chance I'll eventually buy a Deus 2, and selling my original Deus to defray the cost. I wonder if the 2 will have any bluetooth connectivity???

I had a deus my mate had a nox 800. We was detecting close by. He went over an area I had already been over. There was a hammered on its side I missed with the deus and the nox picked up. But now with the deus being multi frequency it's a real competitor. Deus is better built than the nox but also £500 more

Nokta Makro will launch the video on 17th of this month! I think they're running scared of the Deus launch now! We've all been waiting for the NK MF... now the Deus 2 is almost here and has seriously upset the applecart... the whole fruit cart for that matter! I think NM are having issues with their MF... out of their own mouth a little while ago! So... makes me wonder... have they rushed it? Will that cause issues? I think I will sit back and watch the first few months... and keep making do with my Simplex until more info becomes available!!

Hi Nathaniel, hope you're well. Like you, I believe Nokta have missed the boat a little bit, and would've definitely picked up plenty of potential new Deus 2 purchasers had they released it earlier this year. That said, The Deus 2 and Nokta (I suspect) will be 2 very different pricing points - with Nokta in / around the Nox800 territory, whereas D2 will be £1, 500 ish (if rumours are to be believed). I think it may come down to purse strings for a large portion of the market initially, and then it will focus on the effectiveness of both machines up against the will tell.

Its an interesting new detector but stick with my Equinox. And for the price its unbeatable.

I'm a Deus guy but the new one is about double the price of the Nox. Is it really twice the machine?

Never used a deus so I can't compare. They sound good but I'm sticking to nokta
