closest thing to a totally waterproof M65 type "feild jacket " I've ever seen. it's not insulated and that's actually the best part about it. .packs down, weighs nothing, fabric is a tougher version of the waterproof ripstop they use in other jackets, lots of inside pockets, 2 on left 1 zipper closure pocket on right. . top pocket big enough for big phones but not too big to be bulky. .front bottom zippered slash pockets are huge and deep nothing is falling out zipped or not. ..holds up in the woods. being a shell without insulation you should wear a fleece if it's below 40/50 f . it'll be my backpacking and woods jacket I can pack in winter or summer. the only ..tiny thing that I would recommend to Columbia is maybe a second adjustable elastic band in a cloth tube with grommets around waist at small of back around to above the lower pockets adjustable with push locks? like an original military m65 .. really a non issue for me as its a great fit for me in large at 5/10 195 lb decent shape no beer belly but no six pack either but lighter built folks might like it to cinch it in . I dig this jacket and have been looking for this for 3 years settling on stuff I just didn't like as much and cost much more. . I'm 100 percent without question buying 2 more because my luck they will discontinue the damn thing and I will have 2 spares waiting

interesting... this new styled, "draw string" on the hood... i've never seen how to actually use it. Surely, you can pull it to tighten the hood, but there isn't enough string to actually "tie" it. There are also no buttons on the outside to hood the loops once drawn to keep the draw in place.
So, anyone know how these actually work? Any videos you've seen with them in action?

Nothing special...ít.just simple jacket with water repelent fabric finishing this efect will dissapear after 10 times washed
