The Khmer Empire was based in South East Asia. The Khmer Empire were the builders of famous temples like Angor Wat. The Khmer Empire lasted for centuries and was famous for its Indic and Buddhist culture. The rise and fall of the Khmer Empire is something Western historians rarely cover.
