Big thanks to Casekoo for sponsoring this video.

Charge test between the iPhone 14 Pro Max, Galaxy S23 Ultra, Google Pixel 7 Pro, and OnePlus 11 to see not just how fast the phones charge but also how long a 10-minute charge actually lasts.

The results of the Pixel 7 Pro and S23 Ultra are swapped at the end. The one plus charging rate is insane though 😳

A new approach to conducting charge tests compared to how we've done them in the past.

NOTES:
- There was an editing error at the end. The final results displayed for the Galaxy and Pixel were swapped.
- We used the 30W Apple charger for the iPhone (sold separately).
- We used the 45W Samsung charger for the Galaxy (sold separately).
- We used the 30W Google charger for the Pixel (sold separately).
- We used OnePlus' included 80W charger.

This man really takes quality over quantity approach and I respect that

5:32 editing error?

Context: The S23 Ultra and Pixel 7 Pro switched how long the battery lasted for, it's supposed to be 2h & 55mins for the S23U while the Pixel is 1hr & 24mins

You interchanged Pixel and S23's time duration at the end of the video
Great video! I hoped you'd have charged them till 100% and included the total charging time in the video as well

This is a great way to check battery charging speed! Nice thought process

This is exactly how these tests should be conducted, people forget that some Chinese phones might die early than S23U and 14 PM, but they can be back up again in literally minutes.

Did anyone else also see the mistake they made in the video? They switched how long the battery lasted on the Google Pixel 7 and the S23 Ultra in the end

I'd love to see a 15 minute charge added in to the normal battery tests

OnePlus advantage would've been even greater with the 100W charger on Global models

The OnePlus 11 has a 100 watts charger in Europe compared to the 80 watts in the U.S. So the results could be even better !

When phone companies don't even include a charger 😅😅

A very well designed test. Great job PhoneBuff!

NOTE: At 5:37 the times are shown flipped for S23 and Pixel 7.

I love this approach. If you can, simulating usage during charge is another big thing for battery life: the Pixels in my experience barely charge when they get moderately hot (which is always in use), I wonder how the others would fare
Something like 15' charging by itself and then 30' charging while using (standard battery drain test), then keep on while discharging

Totally different kind of test. I really loved this one.

In end results, you have posted galaxy s23s run time under pixel 7

This was a good test. I wonder if the 20 and 30 min test would have been any different

Would love to see the OnePlus back in speed tests again

I would have liked to see 10, 15, and 30 min fast charge results. I have a Pixel 7 Pro and usually do 20-30 min charges in the moddle of the day when needed. Doesn't get hot and i can use it right away without it running slow because of how hot some phones get 😮

And the Pixel also tends to "learn" the specific apps power requirements over time and gets surprisingly better in performance and battery life. Maybe not better than the other phones, but it feels like it some times

Yeah I agree with how you guys decided to test it. Great job!
