8100 has good framerate, but I see much more freezes on him ... 0:49; 1:49 ; 3:32
Frankly, for ~ $105 is a AMD 1600X a better choice .

games that use directx12 vs directx11 changes results for these two cpu.

In Turkey, 1600 is cheaper than 8100 so i go with 1600 ez

Thanks I was looking for a comparison. Since I'm building a cheap gaming computer for my son. There is a discount on Ryzen 1600 and asus prime b350-plus combination for the same price as i3 8100 with a B360 motherboard.
I see some of the games exceeds the 50 % usages on the Ryzen. Does that mean, that the games are using more than 6 threads?

So maybe the high usage with intel is because he was recording while playing? maybe it would be much lower without recording.

You may have low fps with the ryzen but if you alt tab with i3 at 100% will be very slow everything

wtf Ryzen 5 1600 in 30% cpu usage and i3 8100 in 100%

1600 is stronger if more thread is used or it is overclocked, and 8100 is stronger if vice versa. 1600 may downclocked with some a320 motherboards.

guyz, in ryzen 1600 the average fps for gta 5 is about 68( i3 8100 - 75), how much fps would i get with 1600 while streaming in yt ? would i get more fps with i3 than 1600 ?

I am so happy with my new Ryzen 5 1600, wich I can upgrade in the future with the 3 gen of ryzen in the same MoBo, Intel needs a new MoBo to Upgrade and more money.
