New Era of the 2JZ?! 1821HP 3.5L 2JZ Dart Block! (FIRST Real World Test)

Is this the new era of the 2JZ?! Here we have the FIRST real world test of the new Dart 2JZ block. Real Street Performance paired the dart 2JZ with a BC 96mm crank making it a 3.5L Displacement, slapped on the new precision 8685 next gen turbo and pushed it to 1821HP. These are some incredible results for the 2JZ community and in our opinion things are looking bright for the 2JZ Dart combination to provide enthusiasts a good long term aftermarket option to continue to modify the platform for years to come.

Is crazy how far people have pushed the original block design. Now, with the same principal, they are building after market iron block along with billet versions. 30+ year old design that with small improvements makes crazy power.

Did I just hear him heavily imply that a 1, 500-1, 600 2JZ daily driver is possible so long as there are no nasty surprises found in the tear down?

I was floored when I learned that dailying a 1, 200hp LS isn't terribly uncommon. If this pans out (pun totally intended) the only real reason to go with an LS over a 2JZ for swap would be cost and maybe packaging.

On a side note they should be able to hit 2k, 2, 200hp with this thing easy. 8, 400RPM with a built straight 6 is a brisk jog not a flat out sprint. I doubt they were even at the redline.
