If you use a corn grinder, you can get the dry bones down to powder quickly.

Easy way I found is to put bones in a crock pot cover with water cook on low for 3-4 days keeping them covered with water. Strain, use a processor to make the meal adding some of the cooking liquid. Will be thick but enough liquid to break it down, put in bowl and refrigerate overnight. Next morning press thinly on baking sheet place in oven at 250’ or dehydrate till dried turning every now and again. Rhubarb loves bone meal chuncks. That is also my dog treat recipe. Nice video but seems like it’s more time consuming.

This is so smart! I have never thought after using bones to make broth that I could crush them into powder. 😁

good idea...better to burn though. in your furnace. easy to crush when burnt to white. then you can add this to your worm bin - sprinkle thinly...blessings to all

This is awesome....i never this was possible. I dont use bonemeal because alot of bonemeal in uk is made from pork and i'm muslim so we avoid pork products. This would be a good alternative.

Hi! Great video. You say "I'm going to allow this to dry." What does that mean? Do you dry it in the oven, by air
Of by air, how long did it take you. Thank you.

I can’t seem to find an answer to this, perhaps you know and I think I saw in the video but I’ll ask anyways. Is it fine to leave the bone marrow?
