That cinematography is honestly mind blowing. And I've seen some of Deakins' best work but this looks like it might top all of them which is insane when you actually think about it.

God this trailer was fucking fantastic!! the cinematography is absolutely jaw dropping I hope this finally gets Roger deakins his first oscar and that musical score is absolutely perfect for the tone easily my most anticipated of the year

Cannot wait. My only issue is that I hope all the action isn't shown in the trailer and people end up disappointed because it's more of a thinking movie than action. Like the original

This trailer started playing before a movie a month or so before 2049 came out and I literally plugged my ears and closed my eyes. I'm so glad I went in completely cold. I think it made my experience 10 times better than if I'd seen this trailer.

The kettle scene with the Replicant fighting Goseling sounds like the proposed opening scene for the original. Hampton Fancher the screenwriter talked about it and they had storyboards for it too.

I see a lot of stuff that was in the original Blade Runner script, that was addressed in the 'Dangerous Days' documentary... For example the boiling pot of soup.

In addition to her fucking phenomenal beauty, Grace is awesome in her commentary and on-camera demeanor. Wendy Lee is obviously not in this video, but she's great in all of those respects as well.

They just gave away the movie... Deckard is a replicant and has a design flaw/mutation that is the key to the future of the replicant species. The numbers that Gosling uncovered was the grave marker (date) for the replicant Deckard ran away with.

The cinematography & music combined look & sound amazing.The first film was a cult classic . Hopefully this film can do it justice.

Looks fabulous - but the comment about finally revealing the truth about Deckard's background suddenly made me take a step back. I am not sure I want the mystery revealed... that was one of the beautiful things about the original. Makes me wonder if this was such a good idea to bring Harrison's character back, rather than starting from a new set of characters in a related sequel.
