Its so easy to be an NP nowadays, was debating NP vs PA and oh boy, ridiculous how they are pushing for full autonomy. Just look at requirements and curriculum of most programs, i’ll never accept to be seen by an NP again as a patient.

What are the qualifications to become one? I am a BSN working in a cardiac unit of a small hospital, Have looked after cardiac patients apart from those who underwent major cardiac surgeries.
How long does it take to be a cardiac NP?
Thank you
