Mass Effect 3 was the first game that made me genuinely cry my eyes out. Mass Effect Andromeda was the game that taught me to not preorder games.

The sad part is there were still aspects of the game I enjoyed. It could have been a great game, the bones were there, if only the let the dev's cook the game for another year before launch. They basically threw away an entire franchise and the long term profits from that franchise all for some short-term profits that weren't even half of what they could have made off a completed game.

You know... I'm one of those people who didn't actually get to play the original, like, Mass Effect games back when they first came out. And I ended up actually playing Andromeda before them. I actually enjoyed the game at the time. Then, later on, I got to play the original trilogy, which was absolutely fantastic. As expected, And once it was over, I was like, man, I just kinda want more. And I was like, you know what, fine, I'll play Andromeda again. I couldn't even force myself to go through the tutorial. I finally understood why people hated it because now I hate it.
