Community steps up after specialized iPad belonging to teen with severe autism lost

Replacing the device a 17-year-old with severe autism uses for nearly everything—including communication—is not as simple as buying a new one.

Oh my gosh, how come the state can’t just support autistic families like this? That would be nice if the state can step up and help families in this way by buying a new iPad for autistic families in severe need for a new one for their child who cannot speak.
