My dad was a huge frankie Valli fan. The night before he passes away he couldn't really talk well cause he had trouble breathing and his throat was clogged up. He wanted me to listen to this song.

I bought the Closeup album as a Christmas gift for my mother in I think 1975. Ten years later this was my wedding song. Still gives chills everytime I hear it.

As a huge Four Seasons fan I would rate this among my very favorite recordings by Frankie. The emotion in Frankie's voice as he pours his heart out with beautiful lyrics and a dynamic musical arrangement is something to behold.
I have played this so many times the "record" almost wore out.
One of the greatest American groups and lead singers ever to walk into a recording studio.
