HT T1 Enduro Pedals

Just a few clips of the HT T1 pedals I got recently. Couldn’t find any videos of clipping in and out on these pedals, so decided to post this video for people who are thinking of buying these.

Any issues with getting out? Doesn't look like it in the video, but I have also read that they are difficult in and out and not recommended for newbies to clips. Thanks.

I just bought the same shoes and pedals, do you use a shim with the cleats?

Does the shoe rest on the platform at all or does it kind of skate around like a shimano? I'm looking to switch from crank brothers mallet because the rotating egg beater annoys me but I like how my shoe actually rests on the pedal I'm debating between these and the x2 but I'd like to try a smaller pedal to help with rock strikes I use the afton vectal shoes so I'm guessing they're near the same stiffness as your crank brothers shoes

I'm considering getting these as an all around pedal for xc (minimal racing) all the way to enduro/dh. Is the q factor too wide to be comfortable for xc trails? Some say the float isn't as smooth as spd, do you feel the same way? Thanks
