Gray Gubler (One of the actors, who happened to direct this episode) is a genius. He somehow manages to render this scene beautiful and terrible at once. I found it so strange when I realised I knew the tune, but not the lullaby version, and when I found myself thinking this scene of torture (if not torture for torture's sake) is shockingly beautiful. I think the lullaby "Where Is My Mind?" has a lot to do with it.

I usually find murder and torture abhorrent, particularly the murder or torture of women or children, but Gray Gubler works a miracle with this scene. He causes us to find it beautiful, yet he also makes us think about it, and question ourselves. (It's so chilling... I can almost feel my shoulders separating as I watch... hhhrrrggghhhrrr)!!!

Wow broke her arms and legs and then made her dance on stage while In pain. Only Brad could think of something this evil he made her his own little human puppet. And that deep breath she took at the end of the dance was a sign of relief.
