I worked for BNS. It is the worst bank in Canada. Its CEO should be taken to court by customers. They outsourced whole IT to a third world country. I am retired but we used to say - all the savings they get from outsourced will be wiped out one day when customers sue bank. Hope that day has arrived.

Switch banks and be "Richer than you think". I switched a few years back after they received fines of 127M and 60.4M in shady deals. Lot of deals for switching.

Same thing happened with TD last Fri, kind of strange don't ya think. You can't tell me they don't know the deposit is there

Banks are already predatory with their $40, $50, $60 nsf charges that costs the bank only pennies on money temporarily borrowed, there should be a $2.50 cap on an nsf charge that is covered within 24 hours.
