Set off by musical selections from Sigur Ros and Coldplay, the new trailer for Ang Lee's adaptation of Yann Martel's bestselling 2001 novel "Life of Pi" makes for a lavish visual feast. As Pi Patel (played as an adult by Irrfan Kahn) narrates this adventurous epic, we are treated to tableaux of lush Indian foliage, candlelit rivers and colorful exotic creatures. There's also a storm at sea, a drowning zebra and a shipwreck, just so things don't get too dreamy.

its how an individual makes of their travel in the end of the day...its gr8 but also go with an open mind...u will not experience a lot refined etiquette or the norms of the western culture but it is what it is. of course, its flossed in the movies....u might want to experience the authentic india for yourself though.

i am reading the book and then im gonna go see the movie hopefully, the book is amazing written and makes you think and ponder the world, and it touches ur heart in ways u cant imagine. wonderful book and hopefully the movie would be just as good :) cant wait to see it! :D Life of Pi is absolutely the best book i have ever read
