Its not the greatest nor is it the most emotional, but the fact that he was comfortable enough to remove his helmet, shows how much his trust to her and to the adventurers around him. Just as much as his reveal is to her and the others... a wonderful moment.

Its shown that Goblin slayer has greyish hair, and although that could be his natural hair color i've always interpreted it as GS has been pushing himself so hard for the last 5 years of non-stop goblin hunts that his hair has gone grey at 20 years old due to the stress he's put on himself.

man that was amazing, such an amazing and wholesome ending for a series with a very dark world, but what made it the best was when he smiled showing that for once in a long time goblin slayer was happy.

To this day goblin slayer first season finale is comparable to Lord of The Rings first movie ending, the touch and the perfect use of soundtrack makes it very satisfying ending. The fact the studio actually put the thought of how to end an anime like this really impressed me a lot, it's a sign of proof how they actually care about the show and how much the western fantasy influence them
