When I first saw your video(some of the porth ones) in recommendations, I expected it to be some boring coding. So I tried to use it as background chatter to get asleep. It ended up being so engaging that I couldn't get asleep and watched it till like 2am.

I can't believe you spent 2 hours in TempleOS, solved both challenges and didn't even smash that mf God Song button to celebrate at the end. Please play the music next time!

Please do record every day. This is super cool. I have wanted to see what development looks like in Temple OS for a while.

I'm impressed by how fast you move on the terminal and your TWM in general.

In plain C you also need to declare your variables on top of a function. This is because they are stack variables and after reserving space the branch pointer points to that stack space. It's done for compiler convenience...

Amazing video! Wish we had this "view code implementation" in Linux...

Not only can you look at the command implementation... you can change it.

been watching this whole video like hypnotized, it's very entertaining. HolyC seems to have gotten its variable declaration thing from the God given COBOL language where you define all your variables in the WORKING STORAGE SECTION

You should free the memory, but there's no need to worry about it constantly expanding and crashing the OS, since you're ending the process anyways. The main concern for memory leaks is "Adam including", as in running that process through the root process in the background. But for a one-off that's not running in the background, a memory leak shouldn't matter. Good luck with HolyC!

I'm glad to hear that Russians confuse the letters too. Whenever I see the Cyrillic C I still call it C in my head, even though I know it's pronounced as S.
