Excited for sideloading of apps as a user of android for the last decade I made the switch to iPhone with the 14 pro and miss all the indie games that aren’t on the normal stores as well as being able to play ported visual novels on the go

I don’t know about the 30% cut if it’s fair or not. But as a consumer, I’m entitled to choose whatever I want to put on my device that I bought. It’s no debate there Apple.

If IOS gets sideloading and NFC, I might actually consider switching from Android. Something I didn't think I'd ever say. And yes I do know the Amazon Appstore exists - that's why I installed Google Play on my Fire HD tablet

I’m mostly looking forward to USB-C, since that is an actual practical issue over here in Europe (some places don’t even sell lighting cables, or if, then only one and they’re always about 1-2 EUR more expensive than their USB-C counterparts), but sideloading does sound pretty good.

This is a smart move for the critical thinkers....i use both iphone n android like these youtube tech guys, which definitely will bring more users to iphone and thus more revenue. I still cant use only my iphone alone because of these apps availability, or it not being supported by the other

I’d like to see better use of a large screen for the max devices. Stuff like a split keyboard when landscape typing, split screen apps, and overall better UI that favours using the bottom half of the iPhone since that’s all you can reach with one hand.

Side loading has always been a thing on android and I never had a issue.

I think it's about time for Apple. As a customer one pays and extreme amount an Apple phone and you want to use it the way you want to. Apple is too busy micro managing what you do with a phone you bought...

If a person wants to side load its their phone and choice. You don't want to do it, you don't have to..simple
