I’m Australian and I’ve stepped quite a few of them (on accident) and I have only been bit once and I can say they don’t cause nerve damage or pain for that matter. They aren’t strong enough to pierce your skin so once they feel it they will just drop off and sometimes you’ll get bit without even knowing. They don’t leave a mark just a little tickle. Don’t be scared of these things they are harmless.

These worms do not cause nerve damage (temporary or permanent). They eat dead decaying fish in the surf. They are harvested by fisherman to use as bait.

Bobbit worms. And no. It’s not permanent nerve damage. I lived in Australia for a winter, we used em as bait. Got bit several times. So I call bullshit mr. Doctor dude.

They look scary but it's no way that they will give you nerv damage. There not venomous or have a strong enough bite force to cause nerv damage. So no there not dangerous

"permanent nerve damage" doesn't even damage the sardine😂😂😂
