I get your points but at this point it's like reviewing a movie on the basis of a trailer right?

Sony could fix the ergonomics of the A7 line by using the A99 body and customizing it for mirrorless. I don't know why these manufacturers insist on building a tiny camera just because its mirrorless. Yes, mirrorless means it doesn't have to be as thick. But why shrink everything on the camera. I think Fuji and Panasonic are actually doing the right thing by increasing their bodies size in the XH-1 and GH9.

Is the left channel louder than right channel ?

Z6 is not flawless, but
Weather sealing
Built quality
over 300 NIKON lenses available via Z adapter
50% brighter OVF
4 times brighter back screen
does it for me.
Sure a 2nd card slot would be nice, but for me it's acceptable.
NIKON gets my money :)

At this point Sony does not need to come out with new mirrorless pro, they just have to make a $200 smart adapter that perfectly adapt Nikon F to Sony E. Game over.

are those holes on the top water proof ?

Adaptor is $150 when bundled: Z6 + adaptor = US$2150, Z6 + Zoom + adaptor = US$2750. There is no protocol translation for Nikon-to-Nikon so there's no reason to find the F-mount lenses to operate any differently than the Z-mount lenses (other than being mechanically intended for reflex cameras.)

The Z7 does not have a filter in front of the sensor. This will be an excellent camera for Leica M lenses when adapters are available.

I have (and still use) the D2Hs with a single card slot and it works fine for years... you should not say things until you really try (test) them. It is better to offer an intelligent test of these products rather than speculating about things that you don't really know.

Did you film this using the 1dxii or the 6Dii?

I'm still trying to decide between the two. Go balls deep into canon with the 1dxii or just dip my toe in with the 6dii...

the adapter is $250 and its $100 off if you order it with the camera before the end of the year. And the reports are that the f mount lenses work great and seamlessly with the adapter.

Poor Nikon. It looks like they sat in a room with a Sony A7III and A7RIII and said how can we make this look like a Nikon and keep the shitty battery life of the A7RII? Nailed it!

D 850s are NOT out of stock. They just selll out as fast as they come in. Just back order and wait. Depending upon timing and store could be any where from 1 week to a month

Still no mention of my Nikon D lenses, 80/200 f2.8 and I have others, will they focus on this. There is no screw to turn the focusing.

Regarding the new lens selection. If the Z-series cameras accepted F-mount lenses natively, then everyone would be happy about the lens selection. I feel like the people who are unhappy about the S-lens selection are overlooking that the adapter works as well as a native mount (as reported by the photographers who have used the system). When my Z6 comes in, I'm basically leaving that adapter on as if it's a fixed part of the body and will use all my existing lenses.
It reminds me of the adapter for the Nikon 1 series. I had (still have, though I rarely use it anymore) the Nikon 1 series and FT1 adapter works very well... only issue was that the FT1 adapter put AF down to 1 point, and I think that's not the case with the FTZ adapter.

at the moment i am with the DSLR cameras, i don't like the size of mirrorless cameras they look to small toy like cameras .

the cameras haven't even been actually tested and yet...

the single card slot is definitely nikon's biggest fail for this camera for now. the battery life and the adapted af performance is yet to be seen. i'm little dissapointed with the lens roadmap, with no 1.4 primes.

Well it s Nikon. They release a camera with minor issues, and 6 months later they update it...d800/d810 d4/d4s..I bet they will release a z6s or z7s in 6 monthes with dual slot and eye detect
