Показать описание
Community development is a strong notion of social and economic development worldwide. It is embraced by grass root organisations, organisations set up for locals by locals. Community development is a key way of development in developing countries; it has been seen as fruitful and significant to developing communities. They engage with locals they know and in an area they know greatly, they often know the true needs of the community and beneficiaries. Also importantly they live and breathe the culture they operate in, they know how the communities run and operate. This allows them to be quickly accepted into the communities and communities are willing to engage. They are the organisations who can create specific projects that address the most need of the community. They are the voices of the communities international observers/organisations want to engage with.
However with their lack of resources and lack of a voice, which is often taken away from international organisation as well as not knowing truly how access the important resources and funding. The true nature to help them develop is through a strong network of consultants, funders and resource sharing will strengthen their importance while keeping their significance.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
