I wish for more options for the tinting of widgets, wallpaper and icons. I hope Apple introduces an option to leave the outer part for icons bright, just so that tinting isn’t only a dark mode thing as the contrast suffers for many colours. I am also just a sucker for automatic mode, bright in daylight, dark in moonlight. 😀

There is a brightness when going tinted or dark mode for apps in the top right of the menu, looks like a sun, after you hit dark mode for apps it tints, just click it and it will bring it back to full brightness.

the tinted icon option seriously made me go "wth" at first but i've seen people do some pretty nice and tasteful stuff with it. i think i can see the vision now. impressive how Apple was able to even implement something like this in the first place.

My favourite thing about iOS 18 so far is being able to have our icons in dark mode and to be able to finally be able to move our icons around the home screen pretty much anywhere we want now. And I would just like to say that I love your enthusiasm and you’re still entertaining as ever and all the negativity surrounding the iPhone 16 series has made me appreciate you even more.

I switched over to Iphone from Samsung for work purposes. Its crazy how some of these updates have been on galaxy for years. Like the schedule text

In 2012, maybe 13 I switched to galaxy for a bit and when I saw the stuff you could do to customize it my mind was blown. I had an animated background of the guy from doom fighting off demons and you could even customize what demons were coming in, his health, etc. i switched back to apple and galaxy through the years butI was always disappointed that Apple never caught up.

Those lock Screen customisations have been available for 2 years!

All I want is for them to let us pick some different colors for iMessage bubbles! Or the background! Or something! Just so people’s texts don’t all look the same. The green bubble people can stay the same, just let us have some different options to be able to differentiate who we’re texting

I’m not a fan of tint either and thought it was me being old but my 10 year old who’s obsessed with purple prefers the original light mode as well
