personally i always thought the only thing that makes spiderman spiderman is that it can be anybody and expecting certain things from an interpretation takes the entire mantra of the character away from it. we need more abstract interpretations

Spider-Man has always been about guilt and worrying, not suffering. That's why Stan Lee wouldn't let anyone kill old and frail Aunt May. If you take Aunt May and Uncle Ben away, you might end up with a sad Spider-Man, yes. But all of a sudden, that sad Spider-Man doesn't have to worry about paying a mortgage for a house in Queens, or her Aunt's medication, or his school work, or money, or fighting crime. He is free to go to college, get a scholarship, live in the dorms, study, and fight crime. In other words, sad Spider-Man is free to finally live the single life! So he might have been sad and alone at the end of No Way Home, but he was also ready to go to college and start a new life without any of the aforementioned baggage. But that baggage is what made Peter Parker, Spider-Man. As for Miles... he is a completely different character. And for Miguel and Gwen to make those generalizations and assumptions about suffering, and apply the same cookie cutter pattern to all Spider-Men is completely absurd.

Miles already lost his Uncle man just like Peter

Suffering is how spiderman stays the most pure superhero. It keeps him grounded through all things. There's no great responsibility to his great power.

People will be surprised when I say Homecoming is the best live action Spider-Movie. They argue that he’s carried by Stark. But that’s his whole lesson. Learning to do things on his own— growing up when he’s only 15. Who cares if he doesn’t struggle? It’s his first film and the movie still has great writing and a great villain

The hero, spiderman or not, must suffer for it is through suffering that can show you who you are. Like a piece of coal being crushed by pressure only to be turned into a diamond.

people didn’t take the time to see his story play out and demanded that it be the same as before. ignoring the fact that Uncle Ben was killed because they didn’t directly mention it. only looking at the surface instead of trying to understand the character and context. No Way Home didn’t change anything about Peter Parker it was the conclusion to the story which started in Civil War, a boy trying to have everything but the world making him choose.
