This iPhone is in battery saver mode (as the battery icon is visible in yellow colour) . When you put an iPhone in battery saver mode, it restricts the clock speed to I guess 67% of the peak. That means it is an unfair comparison. Switch off the battery saver mode and then compare. Even in battery saver mode, iPhone 7 from 2016 is able to compete a kind of flagship from 2019! That’s the power of A series chips. 🔥
