I love the dry, yet sensible point Hancock makes "if he did a good job why the hell did I have to come for?" True

"Stop pretending that you do not care."

All of us, for some reason, in whatever state and position we're in... We always have a need for this kind of specific line. Damn, shot right in the feels!

Everyone needs a Ray in their corner giving solid advice.

This movie proves you can give the hero a partner who isn't a love interest to give him advice in movies. Wish more comic book movies would do this

You know what I like about Ray? He wasn't afraid. A literal, indestructible god walks on him angry, and Ray didn't even flinch. That's a superhero, right there.

Honestly they should have run with the drunk superhero trying to find his place in the world, with a nice human friend to help him out with that. At the time it was such a unique concept. If only they hadn't lost that narrative halfway through, I'd be watching this movie at least once a year.

I know 8 years are 8 years, but man, Hancock is literally immortal.

Hancock is visibly enraged until Ray says; "Stop pretending that you do not care!". It hit Hancock so deeply, it stopped his body language, verbal aggression, and attempt to give up dead in his tracks.

Movie went from broken man hated by everyone trying to fix and redeem himself then the blonde girl comes in and it turns into a forced romance drama

Hancock rips off a door made for holding prisoners and the guard just pulls out his Baton like ‘I don’t wanna hurt you’

The film lost it's head writer like halfway through the script and you can tell EXACTLY where they ran out of script and used another writer lol

That prison guard about to try and stop Hancock with nothing but a stick has the biggest balls I've ever seen, and needs a raise. The guy was clearly terrified but didn't move an inch to let him walk out.

"We're gonna circle back to that." Only Jason Bateman could deliver this line so perfectly.

1:45 “why do you always laugh?”

“Picturing you staring in the mirror, it would scare the shit out of me”😂

The fact that they still held the phones to their ears after he cut the hole cracked me up 😂

Homelander: You guys are the real heroes
Hancock: What the hell I ll have to come from if he has done a good job?

There’s a very fragile line between Hancock being a villain and him being a hero. It’s great that Ray was there for him.

I actually like “ hot “ superhero landings where the sheer power of the hero breaks the ground under them.

Honestly Bateman did a really good job here

I think we all can agree Will Smith was LITERALLY PERFECT for this role. 😂😂😂
