IMHO. The method I am following for a full immersion is: switch the language of operative systems, programs and apps on smartphones/computers to English, try to think in English in every daily activities, watch talk show/movies/sitcoms and, last but not least, attend to Christina' s lessons. Following this method half an hour a day in 8 months I was able to switch subtitles or CC off! 😀

I have been learning English in Effortless English program of A.J.Hodge, it really helps me learn faster. To improve my pronunciation i use Pronunciation Workshop of Paul Grubber then when I knew how to move my mouth, my tongue I turned to ELSA speak app which is very famous, so now I speak English a lot better but I think i've got to intermediate level plateau so i'm trying a lot to get to advanced level now.

I'm using BBC learning english apps to learn English. But I found their YouTube for the first time before downloaded their apps. I also try to improve my English more by watching another youtuber like you who also sharing an English lesson too. Nice sharing Christina. New lesson today for me "hit the brick".

Cristina, thank you so much. Your are an absolutely professional in your sphere. Your advices useful and great. Please don’t stop to do it) I think the “learning English world” will disappear, if you stop helping people, and it’s no joke and no sarcasm. Thank you from Russian learner 🙏

I write down on a notebook some special colocations, idioms, sayings or words. I write down there the verb tenses, or typical sentences. A bit of everything. And I go over it to brush it up a little bit every day.

Good tips
The virtual immersion is good especially when you listen to ''real english'' not ''teaching english''.

Hey Christina, beautiful video!
I'm presently watching YouTube videos in English for, on average, two hours a day. All king of videos: instructional ones, or even better, TEDx Talks and Stanford University YouTube channel. I often leave a comment after viewing a YouTube video.
Then I am in an international Instagram group of enthusiasts learners, and I post and comment on various topics concerning the English language; we also do video-chats.
Finally, I download the song lyrics and listen to the song while reading and learning the words, and read books in English.
