5 Things You Should Know Before Moving to Sweden

In this video I decided to sit down with my friend Stefan and talk about the 5 things you should know before moving to Sweden. This video is for anyone considering to move to Sweden or anyone that's interested in the Swedish culture. Enjoy.

That Swede are shy is a common misconception. Swedes are respectful towards other peoples privacy and private space and hence is "non-engaging" as a default. However as soon as the ice is broken, which it can be with a simple question for example, there is rarely any shyness. However the threshold to initiate a conversation with strangers is generally higher then in other places. In this regards, and other as well, Swedish culture is more akin to Japanese culture then let's say American or Australian.
