As a sociology student i can assure you that domestic violence isnt only experienced by women; instead men also undergo this, due to the taboo prevelant in our society men dont openly say that but that doesnt mean that domestic violence laws should only be placed for the protection of women.

Being violent is trait it cannot be attributed to a specific gender.
Secondly, an individual should get protection if their partner is abusive whether they are homosexuals or heterosexuals.

I don't know much about Indian laws about same sex my brother lives in Texas had married to a Scottish guy from Edinburgh last year, they adopted a child and I must say they are raising their daughter better than many so called straight couples.

Exactly, thats why I always says that government should draft separate legal framework for them and parliament should properly pass it after discussing and amending in the most healthy and please don't make them wait for more 150 years to be legally entitled to get married and live a normal

Well in my point of view, the rulings in favor/against a specific gender should be ruled out. Mahila purush ka sawal hi nahi ha. Why u assume female needs protection and only males are creating problems. It can be other way around. Protection victim ko milega and accuse criminal ko milega.

Your argument is very solid. The "special" people should rise their demands to the political parties not judiciary.

Shadi se unko koi fark nahi padega . Unko sochna chahiye ki jese samaj ke kuchh rules aap nahi maan rahe, dusro ko bhi haq hai ki wo bhi apne kuchh rules apke liye open na rakhe . Yes we need different laws for same sex marriage, that's it. Male influence or female influence is just an excuse. There are thousands of single father or mother who are raising their children way better than kids raised by both parents. It has nothing to do with particular gender influence, it totally depends on your ability to raise a child. And ppl who are commenting against same sex marriage and praising Sai Deepak at the same time didn't actually understand a word he said.

Marriages thrive on the foundation of love n good values, having heterosexual parents who have no love for each other is a curse, having happy parents makes a child healthy in a rounded way, be it same sex parents, trans parents or heterosexual ones.
