If you're good on iron sites, go with it. Iron sites don't have batteries that need to be replaced. They don't have glass that can break, get dirty, or scratched up. In most cases, they come factory equipped; there's no extra expense.

I am the same so to speak im a tritium irons guy I just can't get past the battery hurdle I don't trust em everytime I pick up a red dot Ive owned I have to change the damn batteries and I have had everything from $50 dots up to "mil spec" $2500 dots they all crap out when I need em... irons never fail

Right there with you. Irons are something you gotta work at. And I feel like I’m not there.

I use iron sights as well. Most gun fights happen too close for a red dot anyway. Just my opinion, but that's the way I trained.

My EDC, CZ-75D, 9mm, have always been partial to hammer-fired, fits in the same Aliengear Tuck 3, IWB, one for RH draw, other for LH draw, that my large-frame .40 cal CZ-75D fits in

I'm not a red dot guy at all and I still can shoot better and faster than most red dot guys until 25 yards. I can still hit just as accurate but need to slow down a little
