Seiko Pogue Repair Tutorial

This is a customer's vintage Seiko Pogue 6139-6002 that came in needing repairs. The chapter ring was not spinning, so we replaced it with a new aftermarket chapter ring.
Unfortunately, the chronograph buttons were getting stuck when you tried to push them in. We thought it was the build-up of debris at first, but it ended up needing new pusher springs and gaskets.
Also, the glass was pretty scratched up, so we ended up replacing thar as well. This was a perfect time since we needed to remove it to replace the chapter ring.
All in all, the repair went really smoothly, and we got the Seiko Pogue back into wrist worthy condition!
I hope you enjoyed our short tutorial.

I have one like this I bought new in the 70's 6139-6002. Hasn't worked for years but I've held on to it. The crystal is pretty beat up but the case and band are in good shape. Is this something you could repair?
