The Heretic is such a cool and creative concept from a gameplay, lore, and game design/game philosophy point of view. I absolutely lost my mind when I saw it.

Watch out when using the Heretic alongside the wake of vultures. If you're planning on going to fight Mythrix, you ABSOLUTELY MUST NOT kill any of the 'Perfected' enemies. The Heretic automatically dies when she gains the 'Perfected' aspect. This only applies to the Heretic. Other survivors can get the 'Perfected' aspect and still live.

Edit: Actually, I just realized the Heretic passively loses hp. It's probably why she gets such a huge hp increase when you become the heretic. What _might_ be happening is when the Heretic gets the perfected aspect, the game first decreases her hp to 1. Afterwards, it does the passive damage, and then it applies the shield. Basically, the instant you get the perfected status, your health gets decreased to 1 and you take damage the instant after that happens, causing you to die.

I really wish you unlocked heretic after causing it to happen. kinda annoying to have to decide if you're gunna try for them mid way through a run

If you lose the heresy items as birdman, your corresponding ability changes to 'nevermore' which does nothing. So that you don't have to fight mithrix with no abilities and draining hp, mithrix will skip his 4th stage when fighting him as the birdman. He also gives a unique line at the start of the fight against the heretic.

The secondary that the Hooks give you is really hard to get the hang of, but once you do, it's absolutely NUTS. The charge mechanic just determines how far it flies out, but it's actually so good to just quickly tap and drop in melee if you're surrounded. the area does so much damage that it will just kill any normal enemy with some bleed effects.

Oy! I've got a niche glich! While you use Mul-T's energymodewith the saw and then use the tanspotmode (dont forget to hold left- and right mousebutton) you can saw while sprinting.
