Thank you very much for this very interesting and informative video presentation, it is good to be able to not only see the buildings but also to see inside and how they have been modernised to suit the trends and requirements of the time. It is great that so much is in such good condition and the people are very grateful for people like Chris and others who volunteer to help to keep the history of this important place alive. The people are greatly indebted to you for taking us along with you.

The another advantage that donkeys and mule's had over the horse. They were more sure footed going across rough terrain. That was very neat video and piece of History.

Andrea and Steve,
That sign in the buildings loft, said Sutro Stables, which indicates that that trough down below was for the horses, oh, MUles:)
When I saw the Sutro name it reminded me of all the history and the Sutro baths in San Francisco.
NOw I realize, after this great vlog by both of you, that it's one and the same man.
This may be one of the best ones you done, so far.
WAY TO GO!!
CHeers,
Rik

Wow what an exciting project and such and interesting place! It's so rare that anyone has the means to preserve these old historical mining related places. Truly excited to see what they uncover in that tunnel! Great video 👍

Isn't Chris great! He certainly loves what he does. Massive shout out to him & all the fantastic volunteers 👏 If it wasn't for all of them, this place would be truly forgotten & left to decay. Looking forward to seeing the tunnel open. Very exciting! I must say though Andrea, Steve was extremely brave walking through that door after you said about the spider. I would've wanted to know; Where it went? Did you see where it went? How big was it? Are you sure it definitely fell onto the floor? Was it a jumping spider that goes for your jugular? Are you REALLY sure it's not here now? Have you got the spider repellent? (Yes, spider repellent exists. I have 3 bottles of it lol!) Kidding aside you've produced a brilliant, informative & wonderful video for us this week. Thank you. Found it all so interesting. The wind gusts got up to 100mph last night. Cabin roof stayed put! Thank you for your email my lovely, I'll reply very soon. Have an awesome week, stay safe, take care and put more pins in your atlas. 🐾🐾 Toby says Hi!

What an amazing piece of history I never even knew existed ! Thank you! When you consider the sheer expenditure of human effort there ..
I imagine today they’d just flatten everything between there and Virginia City! ☹️
