Lieutenants Christopher "Chinz" Walker and Marc "Hi-Lo" Garcia take the stage for an absolutely excellent demonstration of the F/A-18F Super Hornet over their home base of Naval Air Station Oceana. This was one of the rare Super Hornet demonstrations of the 2018 season, which was partially approved but the remainder of the season was cancelled due to a shortage of airworthy jets in both VFA-106 and VFA-122 as well as a shortage of new pilots to be trained to fly the Super Hornet in both squadrons for the fleet. As you can tell from that, training takes precedent over airshows.

Following their demonstration, Chinz and Hi-Lo joined up with Jim Tobul and his Corsair for a Legacy Flight. Legacy Flights were only very recently restored and it was an absolute treat to see one at Naval Air Station Oceana that weekend.
