Dad told me that most of the trees had been cleared and was either being farmed or grazed in Southeastern Ohio.

It was so dry, that wherever there was a tree close, seedlings sprung up everywhere when the rains came. All the cracked open ground allowed the trees to easily reseed.

I think those temperatures proved the climate is always in a state of flux and a few political buzzwords mean nothing.
