A big problem I see when it comes to public perception of the CIA is that we only ever hear the "bad" stuff theyve done. 90 % of all government workers from every 3 letter agency are just regular people who love our country and want to keep it safe. Which btw theyve done an incredible job of.

This guy was a CIA agent and didn't know how reporters operate? That's pretty interesting. That must be how I was able to get just about anyone I called in Washington to talk to me by saying, "This is what this person said. Would you like to respond?" then following it up with "Well, if you don't say anything, I'll be forced to write that you declined to comment." I never lied to them, but I did have to be manipulative. Reporters are vampires.
