I'm glad one of these lists finally mentioned Alexander Alekhine, the guy was an absolutely fantastic player in his time and had to beat Capablanca to win the world title. Really study his games, people. I've been astonded about his omission from most lists like this, list after list, like he was some nobody. Ridiculous.

There is such small differences between these 10 players
To pick the greatest is next to impossible
For this reason, I don't think there is a clear GOAT
I tend to favor the players who did not use chess engines

Fisher; his performance in the '71 Candidates is simply astounding and unmatched
Tal; win or lose, his games were very exciting
Kasparov; another attacking genius, exposing himself to great danger

I believe that garry kasparov is the goat u know why. Because garry is the last man play without helping a computer to analyse. But in modern day say magnus is the goat! Okay. Even garry is my goat.. Bobby is my favourite of all time 2nd is Tal.. Everybody love TAL♥️♥️♥️
